Ok sound. Not the best. Too boomy. Not warm enough.

Wanted something to play some tunes out by the fire pit and this meets all expectations, plus it did not break the bank and sounds great for a small box.

Live this radio. We've had the prior models to this, and loved them too! The new model has so many new features!

I was wanting something I could still play CD's on but with all the capabilities to hook into my smartphone as well. This does all of that. It's light and compact. Easy to move around.

I bought this sony boombox for my mother after her old boombox stopped working. I like that it has Bluetooth connectivity. It's perfect for a small bedroom but wouldn't recommend it for a living room.

I got this for my father because he loves audiobooks on CD. I needed something very easy to use because he's pretty old. This worked great. I might even get one for myself.

This is a great product even though I was forced into buying it. I bought a similar but cheaper item online that the site said was available. I needed it in a pinch, for my wedding anniversary as I reenacted the scene from Say Anything with the boombox for my wife. I ordered it with Batteries. I got a confirmation email, but didn't notice it was just for the batteries. The radio was unavailable. This was all they had, but being Sony it was almost 3 times the price. It's awesome though i wish a little louder at peak. However, my opinion will always be colored by the notion that they should tell you it's not there BEFORE you pay for it online.

Its a boombox. If you don't know what they do, they play old fashioned CDs. This one takes batteries or you can plug it into the wall. You can play music through bluetooth also if you want to use this as a bluetooth speaker for your phone. Unfortunately, it only receives a stream from for your device. It cannot transmit a signal so you can't use bluetooth headphones while listening the radio/cds.

Great CD boombox from Sony. Has great accessories and ease of use. I really appreciate the memory feature that will pick back up where you left off on a CD.
