We purchased the cd boombox to replace an old radio and to be able to listen to our cds at night. The quality of the Sony allows us to enjoy our cds as well as music at night,

Good quality and sound is excellent as is typical of any Sony product. I only wish the USB port could be used for charging your handheld devices as well as transferring music.

Its a boombox. If you don't know what they do, they play old fashioned CDs. This one takes batteries or you can plug it into the wall. You can play music through bluetooth also if you want to use this as a bluetooth speaker for your phone. Unfortunately, it only receives a stream from for your device. It cannot transmit a signal so you can't use bluetooth headphones while listening the radio/cds.

I bought this to use in a barn. It's been running at a low volume 24/7 since I purchased it. It helps to keep some critters out of my barn. I wish it worked for birds!

We purchased this to have on hand during hurricanes/power outages. Luckily we haven't had to use it much yet, but we will be glad we have it when needed. Great sound/speakers.

Excellent sound quality. FM stations come in clear. Like the CD player also. Overall good quality product.

This is part retro with CDs and part modern. This fulfilled my needs for having a way to play my CDs easily for just me as well as for small gatherings.

This boombox provided a bunch of useful options for my wife and I. She needed a portable CD player on which she could also play music from her iPhone on via bluetooth.

The boom box seems to have a good radio range, which is what we use it for. The quality of sound is very good with the addition of the mega bass. Clear quality.

Bought it for my father to listen to books on the porch. He can also send his iBooks to the unit to listen to those!

Good sound but not quite as loud as you might expect. Like the ability to convert CDs to mp3 files but the process takes much longer than it should.

This device has a multitude of options, certainly a cut above the original boxes. Its small size does not diminish its sound either.
