I wanted a CD player and a radio and found I could get both together -- I can listen without headphones as well as with headphones when I don't want to disturb anyone. Also,this has good sound and clarity.

I use this for the beach. Radio reception picks up as many stations as my home stereo. even picked up stations when i was fishing in Canada 25 km from closest civilization.

bought this radio based on price but when got home was even more happy because of the sound and the clarity of the speakers, will cost you a little more but you get a solid radio in return

Its a boombox. If you don't know what they do, they play old fashioned CDs. This one takes batteries or you can plug it into the wall. You can play music through bluetooth also if you want to use this as a bluetooth speaker for your phone. Unfortunately, it only receives a stream from for your device. It cannot transmit a signal so you can't use bluetooth headphones while listening the radio/cds.

Sounds pretty decent for a little boombox. Bought it so we could easily make music flash drives without needing a computer. Would be better if it had bass/treble adjustments.

Very nice little CD player. Works well and meets my desire for a small, compact player for a small space.

This Sony cd Boombox is great for all generations. If a person is not up with technology they can use the boombox with out any issues, For all people up on tech you can use the box with Bluetooth.

We've always had great experience with Sony products and this little boom box did not disappoint. Great sound in a small package that my wife loves to take around the house with her while working.

I bought this to use in a barn. It's been running at a low volume 24/7 since I purchased it. It helps to keep some critters out of my barn. I wish it worked for birds!

This is part retro with CDs and part modern. This fulfilled my needs for having a way to play my CDs easily for just me as well as for small gatherings.

We purchased the cd boombox to replace an old radio and to be able to listen to our cds at night. The quality of the Sony allows us to enjoy our cds as well as music at night,

Good quality and sound is excellent as is typical of any Sony product. I only wish the USB port could be used for charging your handheld devices as well as transferring music.

This was purchased for a gift. He loves using it in the basement. It is small and much better than the old one. The reception is very good.

Call me old school but I still play CD’s on a daily basis! Great boom box for the price. The speaker quality is awesome. Definitely a steal for the price. Good job Sony!

We purchased this to have on hand during hurricanes/power outages. Luckily we haven't had to use it much yet, but we will be glad we have it when needed. Great sound/speakers.
