Good speaker for the money.

He had one I could listen to and after a minute, I was convinced it was just what I was looking for.

Thanks for sharing your review and experience with the SACS9. The subwoofer is a speaker for playing bass sounds. Sound from the subwoofer may be hard to hear when the input source has less bass sound, such as TV broadcast.

Makes a big difference in low-end performance

Thank you for your review and for purchasing our SA-CS9! We are delighted that you are overall satisfied with the bass sound quality of this active subwoofer. We greatly appreciate your feedback with the loudness of the unit. Depending on the audio source, the bass sound of our SA-CS9 may not be so noticeable. However, some of these issues can be fixed by adjusting the LEVEL control (clockwise) to turn the volume up of the subwoofer so that you can hear its bass sound a little more than before. You may also find different sources will perform better than others due to different types of audio compression and transmission.
Fully realize the depth of all your movie soundtracks with this 10” (25cm) freestanding subwoofer, compatible with High-Resolution Audio. Immerse yourself in a deep, responsive low to mid-range with the mica-reinforced cone, and enjoy enhanced audio clarity thanks to the Bass Reflex design.

Purchased this on a great sale. It just doesn't seem to give the same effect even though it is larger. Considering the price I got it for, I can't complain
