    I’m only going with 4 stars because it needs a remote. A $20 DVD player even comes with a remote.

    Definitely enjoyed the lows - connected this via line input and got some decent wall photo rattling. However, I ended returning it because the auto-on wasn't sensitive enough. If the stereo volume was too low, the subwoofer would cut out - with an audible click. If you play music at 30 or above all the time, then this subwoofer is for you. Ended up getting a Polk Audio PSW10.
