Almost great, auto on/off is unusable

It constantly turns on and off with an audible "click" each time. Really lame. It would be 5 stars if it powered on/off with the Sony receiver it's connected to. Now I need to whether to leave it on all the time or connect it to a remote on/off switch. Eh, first-world problems, sure, ok.

Thank you for your review. While we are thrilled you are satisfied with the great bass sound quality of our SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer, we are really sorry if its auto power on/off feature did not live up to your expectations. We are not sure what model of Sony AV receiver you have this subwoofer connected to. However, you may try configuring the subwoofer level settings on your home receiver and see if it resolves the problem. Additionally, if you turn down the volume level of the amplifier / AV receiver too low, the auto power on/off function may activate, causing the subwoofer to enter power saving mode, but this is not a malfunction. This is the same when there is no signal input for a few minutes, the POWER indicator lights up in red and the subwoofer enters power-saving mode. To turn off this power-saving mode, slide the POWER SAVE switch on the rear panel to OFF.
