Easy to setup and works well with my Sony receiver, I was told you could not buy a good subwoofer for less than 300 but it works well for my home entertainment center. Plenty of kick.

Amazing & it's small! We cant even turn this up very much without shaking half the house! I am very impressed by what this can do, we definitely feel like we're at the movies!

I got this for $99 on-sale and its worth it. The lows on this is very nice. I paired this subwoofer with Edifier R1850DB for my desktop setup and the sounds it gives is awesome!!! This subwoofer beats the Polk PSW10 in my opinion in sound but the Polk PSW10 have more features and controls than the Sony. Still both very neat but sony wins in sound quality. High Recommended product.

Half off solidified the decision to buy. Only had 2 days and could not believe how much it has added to my music and movies. Adjustable volume helped to tweek sound to best bass. Other brands considered but much larger and this size is just right.

I purchased this when I discovered that my new A/V receiver did not support my old passive sub. This active sub had good reviews, and was on sale at that point in time for $99. The sub delivers solid performance and has good lows. There is also a standby function, which is helpful. The only downside is that the noise of it cycling between on and standby can be annoying. The only other downside is that the unit is quite large in size. Compared to other subs in the class, this is a solid value.

I love the Sony SA CS9. It has wonderful bass for my room (smaller size room downstairs). I was concerened since it was only a 10" but it has performed well with my Polk speakers and Denon receiver. The only thing that is someone annoying is the auto off power save function (you can turn this function off, however, which I have). I am extremely happy with this purchase and I hope to find another sub on sale for my 5.2.2 setup!

I bought this about a year ago its now on sale and guess what im buying it again . For my new system yeah its not as loud as the price brands but its very clear. Im a movie freak. So watching movies with 2 sony subs will be amazing. As the one im replacing sucks. But the sony is awesome. And the people at best buy are some of the best.

For the the price i paid which was 150.00 down from 249.90 it was a no brainer sounds great bought 2 if you are on a budget these are great mid level speakers not the top of the line but not cheap either.

This new subwoofer works and sounds great. Great price.

I highly recommend this subwoofer. Sure you can find better sounding bass for more money, but little guy is really all I need for my living room. At first it didn’t seem like much, but after I messed with settings a bit it just opened right up. Remember, you don’t want to hear it all the time, only low tones. Take your time and mess with it a bit. You should be pleased.

I did not know this sound has a lot of base. When I played my music man it hits hard. It's banging. It's a must-have, especially if you like music and movies. Thanks!

Like all my impulse purchases I did my research on amazon on my iPhone while looking at the subs in the store...I figured 300+ reviews with great reviews was reason enough to give it a try. My old 12" KLH sub finally crapped out in my living room. Room is 25" x 16"...but you can hear the base throughout the house...so it does just fine. There are plenty of deeper hitting subs out there but for your average home theater system, this one does the trick.

I picked this sub up to replace one that I had to keep getting repaired because it had no power switch. I am EXTREMELY happy with the Sony sub! My upstairs neighbor is constantly driving us nuts with his guitar and drums, and since we got this, he has stopped being as loud. We crank up ID4 opening scene, and rattle the heck out of him. Worth every penny if you need a major boom, but don't want to overspend on a Polk, or Klipsch.
