Fantastic Sub Woofer

The sound coming out of this thing is amazing and rumbles the heck out of my living room and that’s not even on full power. I haven’t had any issues with the auto off feature mentioned in other reviews and it even came with the RCA type cable to connect to the receiver. It was up and running within ten minutes.

Both were on sale. The construction is typical for entry level stuff these days. Lot's of plastic! It looks good though. The sound is maybe a little boomy if not adjusted or positioned optimally. Once you dial it in to your tastes it does what it is supposed to do- add some low end to your system. I debated getting a Klipsch sub and speakers at more than twice the price, but this suits my needs and sounds decent.

It is has very powerful bass that I have to adjust sometimes because depending on what you are watching, it vibrates my whole apartment. It also has an auto power saver feature that puts it on standby when no bass is need for what you are watching on T.V. or listening to music. Stylish looking also. Compliments my stereo system very well.

Excellent sound, but auto turn on is an issue

The sound is pretty good using them as part of a system which is primarily music. The only problem I have had is with the auto turn on. You need to turn the receiver volume up to about a third, maybe more for a few seconds before they kick on. At lower volume they sometimes do not turn on. Once they turn on, there are no problems. Besides the turn on issues, I'm quite happy with them

They lacked the bass punch my old floor speakers had...so I added this for about $100 to help out. So far...so good. Sounds really good helping to support the bass. The only complaint I have is sometimes it takes a little time to recognize it's being called on before it comes out of stand-by. But eventually it does and works just fine.
