Fantastic range Easy to install Great sound and more Well designed

Really nice sound out of this! Lots of bass at normal output, very nice upgrade!

I took advantage of some Black Friday ads and decided to replace my home theater with a 7.2 Sony receiver and this subwoofer. I have been very satisfied so far. Where my old Yamaha would bottom out and crackle at very certain tones or loudness, this Sony has delivered with no issues so far. For the sale price, it's hard to compete with this unit!

These subwoofer is powerful enough to fill a whole room. It has lots of connection types in the back, one for it's own dedicated speaker wire and another using typical speaker cable, with positive and negative plugs. This unit also uses electricity, so if you want less cable clutter maybe this model is not for you, Overall a great purchase!

This subwoofer is doing a great job of providing lots of base to my home theater system. Plenty of power. Sound quality appears to be very good.

I bought two of these subwoofers for my 7.2 surround sound system home theater. They sound absolutely phenomenal. Because of everything going on in the world I did not want to go to movie theaters. So I figured I'd bring them home. Now I have a theater feeling in my own house

Connected to new Denon home theater and activates auto when there is a 5.1 or higher sound coded from Dish or internet. Good sound and was surprised to find speaker hook ups in the back to extend audio. I don't use additional extensions as have 7.2 surround to wall plates that feed wall mounted speakers.

It sounds good with a full range for a subwoofer its size. I like that the internal amplifier turns itself off if no signal for a few minutes. My older, way more expensive Mini Velodyne subwoofer (which is also noticeably louder) won’t do that and uses up its amp in 4 years. The Sony was pretty much a steal at $109 about a month ago at Best Buy. Now it is reasonably worthwhile at $200. Do not expect it to blast you away with its 110 watt amp but it is strong enough for regular listening and dance time with 30 people.

For the price I guess you can’t complain but I bought it to fill out my powered Klipsh bookshelf speakers and found it just dulled the vocals and instruments. I tried a few different positions, keeping it near a way to try and get the most out of it. I wanted to use it for recording so this just didn’t work out for me. I can say that it delivered when I threw on LL Cool J and Too Short. That’s why I am giving it 4 stars.

This Sony bass subwoofer definitely produces robust detailed bass tones. Great clarity! It was the finishing touch to my great Home Theater buy over the Black Friday period. Words can't express how happy I am with my Sony 75" $K TH, Sony 4k Blu-ray player & my Sony 4k Receiver!!! The sales person was extremely knowledgeable and courteous!!! Thank you Best Buy!!!!

Performs extremely well in an outdoor (covered) venue. Provides big bold and crisp bass in an outdoor area that is 1,600 sq./ft. Bass fills the entire space. Very pleased with this product.

For a small room it's a good sub. Don't expect too much from it. It does the job for the money!

Good bass sound and easily operated by remote control.

I was looking for something that gives a good sound, looks slick, and something the wallet approves of. This meets all those things. Threw me off at first with the power save mode which turns off sub if it doesn't detect much that it needs it. But once I saw the setting we were all good. Definitely a good buy. I would do it again.
