Puts out good sound if you want real bass get this

My old Sony sub died so this is a replacement and I love that it was plug and play with my Sony receiver. It’s loud and rumbles the room just like I want.

I have an older surround system and lived for years without a subwoofer. What was I waiting for! My movie and TV watching experience changed the moment I plugged the subwoofer in. I'm glad you can put it anywhere in the room. The included cable was just the right length for connecting to my Amplifier. I'm glad I bought this.

If you need a subwoofer for a medium to large room, and you like action movies or music with extra bass, then I would highly recommend this Sony. This woofer probably could get 5 stars, although the only slight drawback is that it only engages when there is sufficient power (volume) to drive the cone, so there is no extra bass in lower volumes. If you want extra uumph in the medium to loud volumes, then this woofer is a great way to go.

Nice sounding sub hits hard and is very hifi. I use it with my Elac 5.2 and is outstanding combination.

I was hesitant about replacing my existing sub with this one but the old one just wasn't compatible with my new atmos receiver, so out with ther old, in with the new hotness. This sub really delivers that boomy low bass when listening to my music. The it rumbles the house when watching action packed movies. No regrets!

I picked up 3 of these Sony 10" subwoofers over the holiday season at an outstanding price. I have 2 Denon av receivers which can support 2 sufwoofers each. I have 2 hooked up to my music system and 1 to a different home theatre system. Awesome bass. I didn't even turn them up all the way to get a crisp and robust sound.

Wow! I bought this to add to my over 10 year old Sony surround sound system. This thing shakes my entire house when we're watching movies. You feel every boom every blast throughout your whole body. Wonderful addition to revive an old system.

My Definitive Technology sub started buzzing and I needed a replacement. This Sony subwoofer is great at a significant savings over the Definitive. I feel it works better than my old sub ever did. I purchased this on sale and even at full price it would be worth it.

I use the subwooer for my 43" TCL TV., using the small class-D amp with sub-out and two desk top speakers. Now I have a nice balanced sound with clear strong low end from the system. I enjoy regular TV program and you tube music clips. I like this subwoofer very much.

Works as good as advertized, worth the price, amazing sound

Bought this bad boy to help with my new Sony 7.2 4K receiver and it does it's justice. Hearing explosions and making the ground shake or even when the T-Rex escapes his area in Jurassic Park never felt so scary. Pick this up if you're looking for a new and fairly cheap subwoofer.

This SONY SACS9 Subwoofer connects well with the SONY STR-DH590 receiver. Sometimes, when the volume is very low it does not automatically switch itself on. Just turning the volume up on the receiver activates the auto-on feature. It can also be set to always stay on.

It’s part of a our 5.1 system with a Denon receiver that we just set up. I can feel the difference in the detail and the richness of the sound from before. Great product, I think I am gonna get the Sony core series speakers and add to our set up. We are pleased so far.

This thing sounds great and is a fantastic entry level home theater sub woofer. I mean, how much bass do you need? It has a powersave mode that when there is no 5.1 surround sound hitting the amp, it turns off. I found that when you changed channels on the TV, it really confused the auto turn off, so I just leave it on all the time.

This is a great product for great price. You can feel the power.

Good sub for sub $100 price, nice clean bass, no rattling at high levels, light weight, easy to set up

I have this with a pair of Klipsch Reference R-51Ms. They sound great together! The ability to adjust the low pass filter on the back of this sub is really useful to dial in just what your mid-high speakers are lacking. It was super easy to hook up to my Onkyo TV-SR373.
