Very good product! It gives a good base sound to all channels and is especially good when listening to music!

Love this subwoofer and especially the sound capabilities blocks out my neighbors kid running through out the apt next door ! Excellent added system sound for movies and sports. It is like being in a theater but safely at home.

I have this hooked up in my semi truck and now the stereo is bearable.

I have two of these now... I had to get a second to max my receiver at 7.2. It sounds great; even on carpet it isn't muffled, and the second one, in a corner, isn't "boomy," either. They're a little quiet out of the box, but nothing a couple adjustments on my receiver couldn't fix (which you should be setting anyway).

I’m pretty happy with my purchase. This isn’t the loudest subwoofer, but this does a pretty decent job with the low end, and makes my system sound very balanced with what I have. I wish there was a remote to turn the sub on and off. The standby mode hasn’t worked very well for me. It would turn off ok, but has a problem turning itself back on when needed.

This subwoofer is an excellent subwoofer for the clean quality low bass frequencies it produces. When you compare the price with the competition, this Sony subwoofer wins out. It's hard to find a speaker that does this good of job for this price.

Bought a new surround system and the old subwoofer would just hum. Tried cables, connectors and rerouting cables, still hum. Bought this one and used the same cables and no hum at all. Love the bass sound too!

I am going to roll out some adjectives like brawny, hefty, mighty might to describe this SONY sub-woofer. It replaced another brand and it was money well spent. It provides a great distortion-free bottom to my recorded and streamed music as well as movies, television and other streamed content.

Have this in my garage, 12’ ceilings and about 650ft2. IT sounds pretty decent although it struggles with low bass…mid bass it really shines. For $115 on Black Friday I couldn’t pass it up.

I hooked this unit up to my system and it rocks the house. I like the fact that I can leave it plugged in and turned on it has a standby feature that shuts down the amp until it sees power to the speakers from the amp.My old Infinity sub amp blew up because it didn't have this feature.

We are enjoying our new Sony- Core 10" subwoofer. It is better than we expected and is the perfect size, too.

When this subwoofer was hooked up to the sound system, it was magical! A rich, full sound emanated throughout the room. It was not overwhelming but balanced with the existing surround sound speaker system.

Man never knew a subwoofer in this price range kick out so much bass. Awesome product I used to have a sony subwoofer 10 years ago and also love that. Love sony Products. Brevo Sony and best Buy

This subwoofer sounds AWESOME! The bass coming out of this thing rattles the windows! My dogs run for cover.

This is my second subwoofer, I have a receiver 7.2 for two subwoofers, the balance is perfect and the tone nob level is great to balance the audio. No distortion for my application, creates very deep and sustainable sound. Very happy and setup impress my visitors

Works as advertised, Nice unit. BUT...it's heavy, however, all of them are. The controls for volume and frequency rotate too easily. It's too easy to change their settings by accident. Everything on the back should be labeled in a contrasting color like white. I have to use a flashlight to read the printing.
