I'm having an issue with Some things not triggering the sub from Netflix on Roku. I'm not sure if this is a subwoofer issue since other shows/Roku channels are doing great. As of now, I would recommend...which says a lot for me, having avoided Sony audio often in the past.

Superb Subwoofer!

It sounds superb with my 5.1 home theater speakers. The subwoofer settings allows you to set a perfect bass sound for any type of set-up. This subwoofer should last a lifetime for any owner.

This is such an improvement over what we had - it sounds great and we are really enjoying it. Doesn't crackle like the old one.... Made me want to replace some of the other speakers as well.

Sounds pretty good in my garage

IT sounds pretty decent although it struggles with low bass…mid bass it really shines. For $115 on Black Friday I couldn’t pass it up.

This isn’t the loudest subwoofer, but this does a pretty decent job with the low end, and makes my system sound very balanced with what I have. I wish there was a remote to turn the sub on and off. The standby mode hasn’t worked very well for me. It would turn off ok, but has a problem turning itself back on when needed.

When you compare the price with the competition, this Sony subwoofer wins out. It's hard to find a speaker that does this good of job for this price.

Tried cables, connectors and rerouting cables, still hum. Bought this one and used the same cables and no hum at all. Love the bass sound too!

It sounds great; even on carpet it isn't muffled, and the second one, in a corner, isn't "boomy," either. They're a little quiet out of the box, but nothing a couple adjustments on my receiver couldn't fix (which you should be setting anyway).
