We had a different one that just couldn't handle simple loads and didn't hit the deep feel you want from a sub but this one surely does. My fiancé has to ask me to turn it down quite often! ;-p

Great control and ajustability. Sounds great for movies and music. Was on sale for $99. Can't beat that for the build quality and sound quality.

Great and Rich Bass for your System

Even with 2 Large Front-End speakers connected to my Receiver this Subwoofer made a great difference and now I can't listen to Music or Movies without it.

It's a great addition for its price. As for the sound, I am in no way an audiophile but it does improve the bass. The difference is totally noticeable

Returned for Polk PSW

This subwoofer had good reviews and was currently on sale for cheaper than what I had. Purchased and was not impressed. Although a good subwoofer it was easily drowned out by my original sub even though I turned down the Polk and the Sony was on max. I do not believe in turning amps to max volume yet it still could not keep up with the Polk. Returned and just paid the extra $30 for Polk. Totally worth it.
