Very happy with this subwoofer. We had a different one that just couldn't handle simple loads and didn't hit the deep feel you want from a sub but this one surely does. My fiancé has to ask me to turn it down quite often! ;-p

Not subterranean, but provides a satisfying low end for a system with small main speakers. For the price, you can't go too far wrong. I've had a lot of bad luck with subwoofers in the past; as long as this keeps working I'll be happy,

Bought this to replace an older, more expensive subwoofer that died. I was afraid that I would be disappointed because it was so much cheaper. After a very easy install I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality.

Good base sound and range. Bought 2 of them for my 7.2 setup. Honestly 1 is more than enough. Great control and ajustability. Sounds great for movies and music. Was on sale for $99. Can't beat that for the build quality and sound quality.

I had several Subwoofers in the past and decided to add this to my new A/V Receiver STR-DN1070. Even with 2 Large Front-End speakers connected to my Receiver this Subwoofer made a great difference and now I can't listen to Music or Movies without it.

Was looking for a second sub to go with my existing Polk PSW 10 series. This subwoofer had good reviews and was currently on sale for cheaper than what I had. Purchased and was not impressed. Although a good subwoofer it was easily drowned out by my original sub even though I turned down the Polk and the Sony was on max. I do not believe in turning amps to max volume yet it still could not keep up with the Polk. Returned and just paid the extra $30 for Polk. Totally worth it.

Great speaker for movies and games. Compact design

Using as an add-on sub for a soundbar. Tight bass, not earth-shattering, but that is okay. Auto-on/off with a green/red light visible from front.

Good price and nice looking. Works perfect. Best of all is that you don’t have to turn it off, it just turns off after 5 minutes music stops.

It was easy to hook up to my Yamaha sound bar and it sounds amazing as well. It is compact and well designed not to mention stylish as well.

I purchased this subwoofer to use with my Sony - 1015W 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD and 3D Pass-Through A/V Home Theater Receiver. And it worked perfectly and sounds amazing. Very glad I choose this subwoofer.

Easy to install and setup. The bass is smooth and vibrant. The woofer box is larger than expected so I had to move furniture around. But all and all a great bass for the price.

I’m using this in my covered outdoor patio with other outdoor speakers. I keep it covered When not in use. But when used, makes my outdoor stereo sound almost like my indoor living room stereo.

This is not earth shattering but definitely a great sub that gives a solid home theater experience. I can’t believe I waited so long to by one.

This subwoofer has great sound and works great with my other Sony speakers to provide a great movie watching or music listening experience. I really like the power saving mode that automatically turns on and off with the receiver.

This was everything I needed to complete my home theater setup! The bass on this little box is amazing and really adds some depth to movie watching

The Sony Sub woofer delivers excellent sound and bass.

I needed to buy my father a new subwoofer as the old one went bad. Can't go wrong with Sony. A bit on the larger side, but what pumps out is exactly what we were looking for.

Does everything I could have wanted and more. The surprising amount of bass and power this sub can put out is outstandingly amazing. 10/10 would buy again just to have another one.

Replacing a 35 year old JBL subwoofer and this little gem does a great job matching up with my new Sony 5.2 amplifier. It doesn't take up much space and sounds great. Very pleased.
