I must admit that the bass this subwoofer is much better than what I expected for the price. I am very happy with this product. The only reason I don't give a 5 star rating is because of it's low power handling.

I ended purchasing this Sony subwoofer and I could not be happier. Make sure your system accepts active subwoofer and not only passive one.

These worked perfectly for me because they have volume knobs on the back so you can set their relative loudness to eachother and to the system as a whole externally. Sound is good and bassy, but lacks some of the crispbess of pricer models.

I have a Sony 7.2 sound system and it compliments the system well. I have it placed in a closed door open back wall unit so the sound comes the wall behind the unit. My other subwoofer is a 250watt unit that sits in the open area behind the TV..

Probably won't even find better used unless you are lucky. It's tight and rumbles. I got 2 and resold 1 as 2 was way more than I needed.
