I would though if you can spend more have other suggestions and believe the sub-woofer in a home theater setting is where you will get the most bang for your buck.

Plugged right into my stereo (with the provided cable) and power, that was it. It also lets you adjust the amount of base that you want. I recommend if you need a little extra base.
