Replaces the original sub from my JBL 7.1 system that died after 20+ years of use. This is a great match for this system .Had to turn down the total output to not overpower the rest of the system. Nice set of controls to tune it just how needed.

Good, but underpowered

It's just that I've been spoiled by owning 2 larger subwoofers that delivered a lot more 'punch' (moved a lot more air) than this guy.
