I did not have a center speaker. He showed my several center speakers in the store and encouraged me to listen to each one. The Sony speaker is excellent and the price was fair.

I had an earlier model of the same Sony speaker, but I wanted one for a different room. It is smaller than my earlier model and sounds great. You can't beat the price of a Sony speaker.

Sony Bravia XR A90J compatible

Although with the titled model It sometimes takes awhile to switch cable TV on after turning on TV hooked up to it. Sometimes you have to use AV remote to switch to CATV-SAT if you were using another connection device like bluray player. Its not an issue and maybe its not setup correctly. I had bad problems with my X85 Sony; the AV keep turning TV back on after turning connected TV off. The only way to get TV to stay off was turn off surge strip outlets. It would reset after that and work fine for a bit until it messed up again and wouldn’t let me turn off TV again. This doesn’t happen with my XR A90J model.

Excellent For My Hearing Difficulty
