Really good sounding speakers base hits harder for how much it was good for the price

Best value for money during the holiday promotions. The set was $74.99. The same set can be used both as front and rear speakers. No need to spend more as they are 100 Watts.

I bought a set to pair with a vintage turntable. Since I don't listen to my LP's much I was primarily interested in affordability rather than quality. These are VERY LOUD! Even when powered with a mini FOSI amplifier, they are very efficient, and so do not require much power to fill a room with music. I am using a tube pre-amp, which makes my modest system sound like a vintage power receiver system. With rock, this is perfect. One more thing - my hearing is impaired, so I really here the low end of the sonic spectrum. But to me they are more than pleasing. Hope this helps a potential buyer. In my opinion, for a modest amount of money, you can get something to use while you save up for a better pair, like Polk or Klipsch.

Excellent sound quality for a bookshelf speaker. Sony is a master of effective, space-conscious speakers and this is no different. I love them and use them as my front left and right speakers.

These speakers ate solid and have a nice weight to them. They are nice and clean sounding for my surround sound system. I have them as my rear surround speakers nice highs and decent mids. I surely would be buying another pair for the bedroom set. Love these speakers

These speakers sound great for bookshelf speakers. They handle being pushed hard very well. My only negative about these speakers is the sheer size of them. These guys are huge for bookshelf speakers! If you're looking for smaller bookshelf speakers these aren't for you. You need space or speaker stands for these big boys. Also, these are heavy for a bookshelf speaker so don't put these on anything that's not set to handle the weight.

Excellent sound quality. These speakers will get LOUD without distortion. The bass is powerful but it won't be shaking pictures off the wall, if that is what you are looking for, you might want to pair these with a subwoofer.

The speakers are small but mighty. They provide a great sound and are robust enough for the living room. I was happy to find Sony at a great price.

I have been involved with HiFi for almost 50 years. I have multiple systems in my home with very good speakers. I bought the Sonys based on several YouTube reviews and the fact that they were on sale at the time. They have greatly exceeded my expectations. What has amazed me the most is their bass performance. They will play as low as 25hz and sound good doing it. Of course a woofer measuring just over 5" isn't going to move as much air as an 8" or larger woofer. While it may not have the quantity it certainly has the quality. Most of what I listen to plays fantastic through these speakers. The quality of sound is equal to my larger speakers with a 12" woofer at the 85db I normally listen. I do recommend breaking them in for 40 hours at 80db plus if you can.

Speakers arrived in perfect condition and sound great. Very nice size to discretely place around the room.

Clear and just enough bass. These speakers were made for the SONY system, and very affordable also. I have them mounted on corner shelves about one foot down from the ceiling and they sound great with my SONY two channel receiver.

I purchased this pair along with the corresponding center channel speaker (SSCS8) and Dolby Atmos Enabled speaker pair (SSCSE) to complete a 5.1.2 setup for gaming and streaming. Video output is to my Samsung 43" Q60 QLED smart TV and I use an XBOX ONE X for gaming. Audio and video is routed thru a Denon AVR-X3400H receiver (which I totally forgot I still had, LOL). The system is completed by Definitive ProMonitor 800 surround speakers (with RocketFish wireless speaker kit connection) which I already had and a Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer which I also had. I have to say that after completing the setup I was blown away by the audio. I can't speak to using these speakers in a larger room -- all my speakers and TV are set up within 5 feet. Based on the output, though, I would say these speakers would be fine for a medium sized room.

Great sound. Supports up to 100W per speaker Speakers are a standard bookshelf size. I bought two sets (they come in a pair) to add to my 7.2 surround sound receiver. Great addition to your surround sound system.

Excellent sound. Not sure what else I can say. The speakers do what they're made to do. Plus, easy to set up, but all it required is connecting two wires to the back of the speakers.

Sound great with solid build quality. Running through the Sony stereo receiver with no issues. I added a subwoofer for deeper bass but in smaller rooms, not necessary as these sound great alone on the low end

these are the best value speakers I have ever owned. They sound as good as my classic Infinitys and they were less than half of what I paid for those in the early 90s. Amazed at the quality for the price.

Best bookshelf speakers for the price! Bought them to go with a old Sony Cassette deck I had restored and the new speakers work perfectly with the system. Plenty of bass and range.

Good value. Have 4. Used with 7.1 system. A little large on the ambiance for back surround speakers, but with good mounts for support, the listening enjoyment out weights the eyes in the back of your head. Excellent side speakers, they hide well on the end table bottom shelves.

These speakers can't be beat at this pricepoint! They are well built, sound great, and have surprising bass. Perfect for a budget audio setup, or as fronts or rears in a surround sound setup.
