Clean, pure sound

They play loud without distortion. They have a good soundstage and blend well with the Sony core sub. I am driving them with a Sonos Amp with no problem.

The price for this pair is incredible and they perform very well. For anyone considering a pair of inexpensive yet good quality bookshelf speakers, look nowhere else.

These sound great, and for the price you really can’t get a better pair of bookshelf speakers this nice!

The sound is neutral in the best sense of the word, and with a decent sound source the speakers themselves are "invisible" -- all you here is an accurately presented sound field. At the list price of $150/pr, they're worth at least double that. I got them on sale for $75/pr, and at that price I feel like I stole them. These aren't for JBL or Klipsch fans -- these speakers are for people who want to hear the music as it was recorded. Highly recommended!

Great budget speaker

Highs are exceptional, mid bass is good. Perfect for my use as desktop speakers for my computer.

Outstanding! Nothing compares for the price.

Detail is where these truly shine. I use these in conjunction with a Sony Core series sub and the set up is outstanding. Google results for these reveal that most agree you cannot find better for under 200. I agree and recommend these to people all the time, especially those wanting to dip their toes into the vinyl world without breaking the bank. I have had these for a year with zero issues, if anything they sound better now than new.

Happy with sound

Great phono starter speakers!

excellent for front or back speakers!

Although they worked, they didnt look good with all my new equipment. These sound amazing and will handle most any stereo systems output. The grille cloth is thin so there is not sound absorption to worry about. I have all the Sony core series equipment including receiver, center and woofer. These look good and sound great. The only thing is I had to pay full price as I missed out on the x-mas specials they were running but got everything else at half price!
