Crystal clear (still planning AVR setup)

Since I was just getting back into vinyl playing and listening I had no idea if the table even worked and was delighted to discover it functioned perfectly. After that, I obviously needed speakers and found these. I make no claim to be an audiophile, but I have been very pleased with the Sony's. I had done quite a bit of research prior to the purchase and found them highly thought of by folks who do make that claim. Needless to say, I've enjoyed this find.

Sound great a low volume. With the super tweeter engaged and coupled with a powered sub I get even better sound when the volume pumped up. Are they as good as my Definitive Technology towers? No. But the Sony's are one tenth the cost and deliver as promised. Highly recommend this speaker.

Remarkable sound for $75

They sound fantastic for only $75. Very crisp and clear highs.

I've listened to these in movies and music, and they work great in both situations. I find myself actually listening to music more now because these work just as well in Stereo modeas they do in surround. If you're buying these for a surround sound system be sure to pick up the matching center channel as well.
