Sound great a low volume. With the super tweeter engaged and coupled with a powered sub I get even better sound when the volume pumped up. Are they as good as my Definitive Technology towers? No. But the Sony's are one tenth the cost and deliver as promised. Highly recommend this speaker.

Low barrier of entry to audiophile speakers

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The ratings on these on every site speak for themselves in the commercial market, but if you dig deeper into the audiophile world, these are frequently touted as one of the best bang for the buck speakers you can get. The price fluctuates quite a lot, so do some research and keep an eye out for the target range sale prices. I was able to get one of those and plan to fully void the warranty to make further improvements on the crossover- caps, inductors and resistors are in the mail.

Great bookshelf speakers

Great value even at retail price. Good for both TV and music. Compare these to much higher priced speakers and you will be pleasantly surprised. They also upscale well. Best for desktop or small to medium sized room.

Fantastic speakers

Insane surround sound

For its price range, you won't find better speakers. The whole core series as a set is and incredible buy for the cost.

Since I was just getting back into vinyl playing and listening I had no idea if the table even worked and was delighted to discover it functioned perfectly. After that, I obviously needed speakers and found these. I make no claim to be an audiophile, but I have been very pleased with the Sony's. I had done quite a bit of research prior to the purchase and found them highly thought of by folks who do make that claim. Needless to say, I've enjoyed this find.

Clear and loud enough for the music to be heard from every corner of the yard. I love gardening with music playing. Praise tunes or classical, the animals and plants are going to thrive, not to mention myself and my two grandchildren.
