Sony Speakers are a excellent value.

Hung them on the wall and they cover the whole basement with quality sound. Minor disadvantage there is no hanger on the back to hang them on the wall. But they are advertised as bookshelf speakers. Otherwise this is a very good value.

Used as front L&R bookshelf along with the center channel core series. connected to Denon AVR. Excellent sound and frequency range. Very good for karaoke night as well.

Excellent value for the buy

I got these on sale at the time and a few weeks later (currently) they are on a steeper sale which BB honored and refunded me the difference for them! These are more than adequate for the size room that I have them in and work great for my CD Collection and using them with my TV!

Excellent configuration for the price point. The receiver would probably not be the first choice for a home theater system.

Great speakers for the front end of any high fi

High end is clear and the woofers get down to a low end that rivals some sub-woofers.

These have impressed me

I have them paired with the Sony tower speakers (sscs3) and a Sony receiver (str-dh790). I actually returned some klipsh bookshelf speakers for these and am still happy with that decision. The klipsh sounded to bright to me and this sounds right to my ears.

I was greatly pleased that the speakers produced the same quality of sound as my iPod! I only had one problem, I did not know that when you purchased speakers these days you also have to purchase speaker wires separately!
