Great sound, clean and clear. Nice size, don't take up too much room.

This is a tough review to write because I don't have any issues with these. Especially because I researched and bought the ones I wanted. These are exactly those, and I love them still today (2+ years later).

Speakers fit where I needed them to fit (off the floor, unlike my previous Bose bookshelf speakers that were a lot wider..) The nuances between bass, treble & midrange could be better defined; not sure how far you could crank up the volume w/out totally losing balance & overall sound quality. That being said, if like me you are looking for something that works well within the confines of a smaller space, and you're not trying to rock the block-these are really good speakers! Subwoofer was suggested by sales person; would add if I had more space to work with..

These are well-reviewed online—and there's a good reason for that. They are smooth, clear and play loud if you're looking for that. They respond very well to my 65-watt per channel amplifier. No breakup—yet. Got them as an open-box for $108/pr.

These speakers sound great and look classy. If you're planning to put them on speaker stands you should know they cone with grip pads you can apply to help them stay in place. However, the speaker housing is not drop resistant at all. Took heavy cosmetic damage from a 3 foot fall so just something to be aware of if placed in an area with traffic

I am 74 and this is the first:stero" sertup in 30 years, WOW, files my den with golden oldies and great sounds, even the Audible books! Loving it.

Speakers exceeded expectations. Excellent clarity and they happily handle lots of power. Not tremendous amounts of low end, but enjoyable.

Appropriate size for my application and has a clear sound reproduction. Sound quality holds at different volume levels.

Completed my total Sony core speaker surround sound. I hear music in a totally new way, fantastic. Highly recommend the Sony core sound system

amazing speakers. Comapred to my old polk t15's these are much better, those sound like a tin can compared to these! I use them as pc speakers with a cheap reciever and a soundblaster external sound card(that was about $100) and I get amazing sound from these.

With all the studio equipment I purchased, I needed some speakers, because my current speakers are too loud. I needed something smaller but with great sound. These speakers were exactly what I needed!

I brought 3 pair to use with my 7.2 Onkyo surround sound unit, along with a Sony bookshelf center speaker and the Sony 10" power sub base speaker. Love the sound went and brought the cd changer too use as a AM FM cd stereo unit.

Thesr speakers sound really good with our sony receiver and audio tech turntable. They are loud enough in our living and have enough bass to not worry about subwoofer. It you like lound bass i would suggest getting a sub. The only negative i have is they are taller then the specs online they are 13.5 inches tall.

Quantity for quality. If you are looking for an entry system this will suit the needs, but if you are someone who gets a taste of something and desires more you will try to expand on your audio entertain. Great entry level to eventually expand on to surround sound.

Absolutely. I'm not sure you'll be able to get much better than this without paying 3x the price. Sony really outdid themselves with these. Get 2 pairs and the matching center and you have yourself a nice budget 5.1 home theater setup. Highly recommended.

The sound on these speakers are superb when I play my video games such as PS4 red Dead redemption the sound of the music and the details is so crisp it immerses you into the game I highly recommend these speakers with the center and the towers with the subwoofer will make a complete 5.1 system with premium sound thanks.

Speakers sound great. Bought these to replace two rear speakers in our surround-sound system. Great price. Easy to buy at BB. Order online, wait for their message that it’s ready for pick up, and pick them up.

A very open balanced and articulate speaker. limited low bass but blends very well with a subwoofer, I use a Polk Audio Signature series 10 inch sub. Sort of basic looking satin black finish on the the cabinet but overall excellent sound quality at low price/
