Outstanding sound for the price

Yes, they are Sony and made over seas but the overall build quality and sound are what makes them shine. Bought them for a small setup in the bedroom to listen to vinyl using just these speakers and a 1970s pioneer amp. Couldn’t be happier.

I have these set to -2 on treble and they present vivid treble tones without listening fatigues. You absolutely need a subwoofer with these speakers though

Great speakers

Open box...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical to purchase these speakers because the box was labeled "open box" However after I got home, I was unsure why they were labeled open box because the seal was not even broken. Definitely glad I took a chance. They sound great although you will have to buy banana plugs and make new cables for them.

My daughter has started collecting used vinyls from the 60's and 70's and they sound so good on these Sony bookshelf speakers. We also bought a Sony receiver and Sony turntable. Excellent combination.

Impressive sound for this piece point

Bass is also good and specially if you free them with a based focused amplifier. For the price it is a great deal. Females vocals are a delight!

Best option under $500

Great speakers but large for rear surround

I use them for the back surround sound so I don’t get much use from them, but they do have a powerful sound. I would prefer smaller rear speakers but that’s up to your own setup.
