Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are great speakers...wouldn't pay full price but they go on sale often...some people including myself have asked the question about using them as height speakers...one guy for Sony on here kept saying don't place these speakers in an incline position...but would not say why...so I called Sony myself and they told me it makes no difference if you point them down or not

Great mid level speakers

There are many better speakers, of course, but these still represent a good value. SONY has done a commendable job for the cost of ownership.

Excellent Speakers

I stumbled upon these inside of Best Buy and have been very pleased with the purchase. Now I just need to purchase another pair for the front.

Will I exchange them no they do sound pretty good.

Great little Sony speakers so much power

Sony has really done amazing producing these little guys. I use them in my 7.2 surround sound system for my home theater. I wouldn't go anywhere else but Sony

Replacement for older system

Very crisp, I am no audiophile but my ears love these.

I compared them to Klipsch RP-500M and Elac Debut 6.2. The Klipsch and Elac were better overall, but tough to tell without a direct comparison. At about $120, these are great.

Amazing sounding speaker!!

Very detailed, listening to an accoustic CD the guitar sounded like it was right in my room. Complete bargain, hard to find anything in this price range to compete with these.

Great speakers

They sound great much clearer than my older and smaller Sony speakers that I bought 6 years ago. Attached to my STR-1080 Sony receiver.

These speakers really bring the surround sound to another level compared to our old set.

I feel I got a great deal for this product. The sound is so smooth and you can add speakers and subwoofers if you want to. You honestly don't need anything more. They work great. And go very loud.
