Excellent sound quality and imaging for the price.

I was planning on buying the SSCS3, floor model, but found a few reviews online that claimed the SSCS5's were less muddy in the low mids so I gave them a shot. I might still be happy with how they sound if I had spent 3x more.

Sony core series 5 inch 3 way bookshelf speakers

I had my doubts about them being able to handle that much power..for the money they are great and they are a very nice addition to my system. They rock the house even in a 5.1 configuration.

great speakers for the price

I love the sound

These 4 speakers produce excellent sound; however, they are larger than most shelf speakers. This makes them hard to position in the room. Would not be as much of a problem if they had a bracket for mounting.
