After adjusting my sub crossover, they sounded a little better. I still hear a slight distortion in the mid-range at higher volumes. I expected a little more from Sony. I'll probably just replace them with Polk audio to match my sub.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On paper this looked like a great bargain, but once I had the speakers home--run with 200-watt 2-channel receiver--they didn't hold up. Note: I was looking specifically for music listening. These had no bass and weren't very warm in tone. They were clear, though, and might be a great addition to a surround sound system. I ended up with the Bose 301s, everything else the same, and am MUCH happier.
