I love the sound and look of these speakers. perfect for my space.

These speakers can't be beat at this pricepoint! They are well built, sound great, and have surprising bass. Perfect for a budget audio setup, or as fronts or rears in a surround sound setup.

I'm swapping from 2010 Yamaha satellite speakers to these Sony Bookshelf speakers and the jump here is phenomenal. First time owning bookshelf speakers and I was following these very closely now for the price point to hit the "sweet spot" but these are more than worth a purchase if you don't have to wait. The sound is crisp and booming while maintaining a pure silence when necessary or as the audio format calls for it. Musical tracks come through with such presence and the sound scape for a surround emulated environment is quite impressive. Looking to add some more Sony to the lineup going forward. These are paired with Sony's 7.2 A/V Receiver.

Good value. Have 4. Used with 7.1 system. A little large on the ambiance for back surround speakers, but with good mounts for support, the listening enjoyment out weights the eyes in the back of your head. Excellent side speakers, they hide well on the end table bottom shelves.

After about 3 weeks break in these speakers really shine. They play loud and clear when cranked up. I have crossover set at 120. I have them ran through my 10 inch cerwin Vega sub woofer. My receiver puts out 220 per channel. These would not be able to handle that by themselves. I have these matched with the Sony center for surround sound. I got them on sale I'm very satisfied with the sound quality for the sale price.

Great bookshelf speakers, clear vocals and amazing music. They have surprising bass when turned up loud enough and they take a lot before they distort. I bought these on sale highly recommend.

Bright enough, clean, sound separated and involved. I recommend for the price, you not going to find any better for this price range.

Decided to do surround sound using sony receiver shelf speakers and a nice subwoofer. Chose these speakers as front left and right and they are really good. Great sound for the price. Def better than any sound bar. Good deep clear sound. Would recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade from sound bar ro traditional surround sound. Also great for music. I paired with klipsch 12 inch subwooofer and the sound is awesome. Shakes my house on mid level volume.

These bookshelf speakers sound amazing. Much better than the Logitech z313's I've relied on for years, and sounds much better than the soundbars at my friends houses. Sounds a lot better actually. I was debating some of the other 2 ways speakers, but settled on these... because 3 way is better right? I've had these speakers for a while, and I'd have to say, It may be perception, but they're sounding better as time goes on and they get broken in. Just FYI, I also bought the following items to pair with these speakers, of which, I am pleased with these other items also, Sony - Core Series 10" 115W Active Subwoofer - Black Sony - 2.0-Ch. Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth - Black

Sony is one of my favorite speakers and they reall make my music and tv sound so good plenty of places to put them because they are small would buy again.

love these speakers. can now enjoy my 5.1 receiver with legit surround sound speakers. they get really loud listening to music and catch everyone off guard with the sound that comes out when viewing movies.

Great sound, great price and fast delivery and easy to install

Love the sound quality of these speakers. I paired them with a Denon D-M41 mini recieverand I love the sound. I'm impressed.

At regular price, an excellent speaker. At the occasional sale price of $75 a pair, you're getting a good-looking pair of bookshelf speakers that are easy to drive, with top-end clarity, midrange and bass you wouldn't expect at this price level. I've put them up against Klipsch R-41M, Emotiva B1+, Micca RB42, and others - the Sony's came out on top every time. Those speakers I mentioned are great in their own right, however. For a company that makes literally every type of electronic gadget out there, they really hit it out of the park with these. Things I don't line about them: -kinda frumpy grille design and cabinet wrap, best to leave the grilles off -not so good at very high volumes or when exceeding their power rating

Great quality full sounding speakers at a great price!

These speakers sound great in conjunction with their surround speakers and subwoofer and central speakers, They come very nicely protected in their big boxes and were a breeze to install. The mesh can be removed so you can see the innards of the speaker. The speaker cables comes separate as well, and screw in plugs are used so they are banana plug compatible. Overall a great purchase! I would wait for a sales event though, buying them regular price I think they are a little overpriced. These can be setup to sound in regular sound, not surround, so in a party they sound really loud like the floor standing speakers!

I purchased a pair of Sony Core bookshelf speakers with a Sony STRDH190 stereo receiver originally for my home office. I have since moved them to my bedroom. For a budget speaker, they are really nice. Build quality is good. Sound quality is impressive at normal listening volumes. They can crank too when you want to rock out. I've owned them for more than a year. I use them on a daily basis, and have had zero issues with the speakers or receiver.
