Although they worked, they didnt look good with all my new equipment. These sound amazing and will handle most any stereo systems output. The grille cloth is thin so there is not sound absorption to worry about. I have all the Sony core series equipment including receiver, center and woofer. These look good and sound great. The only thing is I had to pay full price as I missed out on the x-mas specials they were running but got everything else at half price!

Sound great a low volume. With the super tweeter engaged and coupled with a powered sub I get even better sound when the volume pumped up. Are they as good as my Definitive Technology towers? No. But the Sony's are one tenth the cost and deliver as promised. Highly recommend this speaker.

The price fluctuates quite a lot, so do some research and keep an eye out for the target range sale prices. I was able to get one of those and plan to fully void the warranty to make further improvements on the crossover- caps, inductors and resistors are in the mail.

Since I was just getting back into vinyl playing and listening I had no idea if the table even worked and was delighted to discover it functioned perfectly. After that, I obviously needed speakers and found these. I make no claim to be an audiophile, but I have been very pleased with the Sony's. I had done quite a bit of research prior to the purchase and found them highly thought of by folks who do make that claim. Needless to say, I've enjoyed this find.

Got tired of the pour pc speakers that are normally connected to a pc. Music quality is a lot better.
