I'm sure they are not the best front and surround speakers on the market, but they are absolutely excellent for the price (especially since I got them half off - 4 speakers for $150). Eventually, I'll use these as side surround and rear surround speakers when I upgrade from my current 5.2 system to a 7.2.4 system.

I did return these speakers and exchange for the Polk Signature's. The reason being is that the Polk speakers integrate better into my surroundings and to me are more substantial in appearance.

Great Sounding Speaker with pretty good bass
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've now had the speakers for about 2 weeks and can definitely hear the difference from my previous 2-way Sony Bookshelf speakers. Fidelity is much increased with the extra tweeter, clarity is great and Bass is pretty good for a bookshelf speaker. For a home theater you definitely need to have a sub in your system, these speakers are just not as capable when it comes to bass. But overall a great speaker and highly recommended.

A bit large, but great sound for price

As a result of those things, placement was more challenging than I expected. Once placed, they have performed excellently, and current prices are a steal.
