Amazing Upgrade

Bought these to upgrade my mother in laws 20 year old surround sound. She went from having 4 speakers, one center speaker and a subwoofer to just 2 speakers and a Center Speaker. Sounds a million times better and she can upgrade to a subwoofer to enhance those movies and Football games.

Excellent soundstage that really fills a small to medium sized room. Surprisingly good bass response. For a smaller room like a bedroom, you could use these as your front left and front right on a 3.0 setup and probably not need a subwoofer. The super tweeter does bring out lots of detail in the audio. A slight downside is I found the high end to be a bit shrill especially at louder levels, but nothing deal-breaking. Though not quite as loud as the Klipsch R-51-M's, these otherwise sound close enough that you likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless you did a side by side comparison like I did. With the grills off, the Klipsch's certainly look cooler, though.

Huge improvment over soundbar

I'm sure there are better speakers out there but for my small/medium sized living room these do a great job filling the room with sound
