They sound excellent for that price range. Even at retail price they sound great. I haven't broken them in yet but the detail is there. Hoping they get a little fuller with time. Tested them with and without a subwoofer. They don't NEED the sub but it's a nice addition.

Great sound and price

I got them on sale last month and they sound fantastic with my subwoofer and Sony receiver. The two speakers were both on sale and I would definitely recommend all three items. I set them up with a little help from the Sony Tech support and have been enjoying the system since. The patio is my favorite spot to enjoy music now.

I don't need much sound for y space but there is a visible difference between my old sound bar and these. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that wires are not included. It's strange...if I'm spending money, the least Sony could do was add the cables, like why nickel and dime people for no reason? I wouldn't purchase again for that reason but they're fine for now.

These chunk speakers are the best part of the entire setup, I wouldn’t mind just buying another set and using them as the front speakers, because they are that good. Would recommend these.

Sound great but needs a mounting bracket.

Only drawback is hiding wires and a place to set them. They don't come with any mount or hardware to use. Luckily I have two small bookshelfs there already.

They sound amazing. We paired it with the Sony turntable and it is so clear. We did not need to add anything to these speakers. They sound amazing.
