Posted .Hi BigBuford, thanks for choosing and purchasing our product. We're sorry to hear that you have an issue with the bass of your Sony unit. If the polarity of the speaker connections are not correct, the bass tones will be weak and the position of the various instruments obscure. To enhance the bass of your Sony SSCS3 speakers, you can try adjusting the settings on your audio system. If your system has an "EXTRA BASS" or "EQ10/Subwoofer" setting, you can increase the bass level through these options. Additionally, placing the speakers closer to walls or corners can naturally amplify the bass response.

Awesome Sound
