Excellent for price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While I would love bower and wilkins sneakers, these do the trick. However, if you can up your budget, do so! Low frequency’s are phenomenal, and tweeter deliver clear performance.

Got these and compared them to my old Klipsch floor standing speakers and wasn't impressed. These Sony speakers sound okay for the price, but honestly they seemed stuck in the mid range, not really nailing the sharp highs or deep lows. The good news is it's renewed my appreciation for my old but tried and true Klipsch's.

Decent for the price

I found the Sony core 5# bookshelf speakers to sound identical so I returned these for the cheaper (1/2 the price) bookshelf version.
