The tripod is sturdy for its size, and can maneuver into several different positions. The grip connects through bluetooth, so it can work even when not attached to the camera.

The memory card that was included did NOT work in the Zv-1 camera. I tried another memory card in the store, which also did not work. Seems to me to be poor quality control on Sony's part since two memory cards included as a part of this kit would not function in the camera. Two cards, direct from the factory box, both bad. For what it is worth, a much cheaper Sansdisk card worked fine in the camera.
