This camera is easy to use and takes a nice picture

Pictures are crisp and bright colors, but some of the features and symbols are not intuitive. And an instruction manual doesn't come with it, but you can find it online. Still a very nice point and shoot option.

The camera is great as far as picture clarity and user friendliness is concerned. However, the engineering could have been a bit more robust. The first one that I bought started having problems with the automatic zoom within two years. It would go all the way out without stopping when zoomed beyond a certain point and would give an error message asking to turn off and on again. The problem would persist even after turning off and back on again. Inspite of this I liked the camera enough to I buy a later version of the same model but this time a part from the battery compartment came off from a slight accidental drop. I have warranty on this one so I will get it fixed. With a little bit of improvement in the engineering front this could be a great camera for taking quick snaps on trips and treks.

Cute little camera...fits in a pocket...very easy.

PROS: portable design, Sony G lens, intuitive interface familiar to any Sony camera user. CONS: panoramic mode goes only left to right as opposed to previous Sony G cameras that could go up to down, down to up and right to left as well.

I wanted a camera that packed a punch and I found one in this Sony. It's compact - stays in my bag at all times. Because of that I have been taking more pictures - Which was a goal of mine! Kids grow too quickly! Capture ALL the moments you can!

This is a good camera that I purchased for a trip to Europe. Overall, it functioned very well. It was easy to use right out of the box, intuitive, and took nice pictures. I've never had a camera without a viewfinder, and I didn't think it was a big deal until I tried to take pictures in the blazing sun. You cannot see what you're aiming it with the screen - it's like trying to read a book on the iPad in the sun. So, it was a guess as to whether I had focused on the right thing or had the shot lined up the way I wanted it. Also, I'm not sure if it's just the way I hold the camera, but I found myself constantly (and accidentally) opening the door to where the Memory Card was stored. Somehow it just doesn't lock very well. There were no negative repercussions b/c I was vigilant about it. But it's disconcerting, nonetheless. Finally, maybe I took too many pictures, but I had to use a portable charger toward the end of every day to get the juice I needed. I also had to fully charge it every night. I've focused on the negative things, but overall I've been happy with the camera.

This is becoming my favorite camera. For some things, I still use my dslr, but the long zoom, and great pictures from this camera have me using it more and more. Video's are excellent. Much better than from my Sony video camera.

Great video quality. Good custom program settings for pictures. Always happy with small compact Sony cameras. Sharp pictures. Can't connect an external Microphone is my only complain, since they have a mini USB port, it will be great to have that feature.

I bought it "open box, $211" and it's great (especially considering price) for the features I wanted (most needed) like great MP, very long zoom, fast start-up time, very good flash so far for my close-ups (haven't tried mid range), compact size but not too small and buttons/knob that don't bump every time it's put away requiring double checking before shooting. I am not a pro picture taker, but this blows so far past phone cameras and even keeps me from pulling my Nikon D out.

Wanted a versatile pocket sized camera with a good zoom. This Sony filled the bill, and the price is right. My daughter liked mine so much she bought one for herself. Sony's unload software could be improved, a lot! Not very user friendly. If you want to edit....get Photoshop.

The pictures I took with this new camera came out really great and very clear. In fact, I submitted one of the pictures I took on a resent trip and it was featured in the N&O newspaper (My Best Photo - June 10th).

I purchased this camera to travel to Europe. Don't let the size fool you. It takes better pics than my Nikon D3100. The zoom is also a plus with this camera. It is a very smooth zoom and quick auto focus. I just sold my Nikon D3100 and I don't think I will buy another DSLR.

I bought this camera to take on my honeymoon. We aren't big picture takers but this camera takes nice picture is easy to use and compact.

Takes awesome pictures from far away, up close n panoramic. Got this for my hunting trip to Colorado and was able to capture the beauty of the great outdoors

Needed a small, handheld digital camera (more point and shoot) to take dog photographs at our local Humane Society. This cannot and is not intended to replace my full frame Sony a7r ii. Was afraid that I would mess up my one/only really, really good camera. Therefore, I purchased this camera specifically for its portability, inboard flash (fill-in), and one-handed (more or less) operation. I have not used it enough to feel that I "know" the camera yet or its ability to do what I need from it.

I was replacing an extremely old Canon Powershot, so I wanted something easy to use. The assistance by the associate at Best Buy helped seal the deal for me. The only thing I do not like is the brief pause between taking pics. Not a big deal so far.

I looked at several different cameras in this price range and think this one was just right. It took me a minute to figure everything out but once I did it's now a peice of cake.

I bought this for my mother as a gift and she loves it! The photos are of good quality and the resolution after zooming is great. I am not a camera enthusiast so there isn't much I can say about specific features. This this one does the job very well.
