Good starter camera. Excellent pictures in low light.

The camera features two distinct "point ans shoot" modes. "Intelligent auto" is a very fast auto shoot mode and is excellent for most situations. the response time of the shutter is excellent, and you can shoot away and edit later. The "Superior auto" mode takes 4 pictures in fast succession at 4 different f-stop settings, and then blends the exposure to create a composite that is balanced in a way that no single f-stop shot could possibly be. This is NOT a setting for artistic photography, but will be a life-saver in situations where the scene being shot has a variety of lighting that cannot be accommodated in a single f-stop setting. The one drawback, is that this setting requires several seconds for the camera to "decide" and process the final shot. Fine if you are taking a sunset picture, not ideal if you are trying to catch an action scene. I also like the fact that the "mode setting" dial has fewer choices (only 6). I don't expect to use more than 3 of them. One small complaint is that the only way to charge the battery is inside the camera, with a special wire (supplied). This means you have to take the camera "out of service" to charge the battery, instead of having a spare battery ready to go in the charger. The camera is so good in low light, that I hardly use the flash and the battery lasts a long time.

Got this Camera since I wanted a small purse or picket size camera that takes better quality shots than the $99 ones. Good quality but harder to get shots in motion but I may need to just work on settings a bit.

I love this little camera! I needed something small to take to Costa Rica and this is definitely that. But the quality of the pictures were incredible and the zoom is amazing! Much of my trip was spent with a professional photographer who continuously commented on the wildlife photos I was able to capture. Very very pleased with this purchase!

I live in Alaska + hike. This is small enough to stuff in a daypack, pocket, wherever. I love not having to carry around a designated camera bag. Very much an amateur, but the photo quality is great for me.

Overall I'm very happy with this camera. I was looking for a small pocket size camera to carry around. Takes excellent pictures.

I purchased this camera take on a cruise to avoid carrying my bulky Digital SLR camera around the ship and on excursions. It is small enough to fit in a small crossbody bag and takes excellent photos.

I purchased this for my 9 year old and she learned how to use it very quickly. She takes pictures like a pro and uses the video feature adeptly. This camera takes nice pictures

Easy to carry with a quick focus for nice to exceptional photos. While wireless uploads to android platform is available, the camera does not directly upload wirelessly to Apple platform. (Cable hookup for photo transfer is seamless.)
