This is a very good camera but I missed the zoom. This camera has very less zoom.

I like this camera for what you get. 4k is very good but zoom is not but that expected.

Although I'm still learning the ropes, this camera is just as good as it's described.

Great Camera, but I did not find it compact enough for my needs.

The camera has all the bells and whistles but image stabilization is not good at all.

I purchased this item in August to use on a vacation in October. The vacation was canceled at the last minute, so I never even had a chance to use the camera. I recently tried to sell it to recover the money I spent on it, and I was advised that the view finder was broken and I am unable to sell it. So now I am stuck with an item that is outside the return period at Best Buy, and that I am unable to sell on my own. Huge waste of money. Highly disappointed!

Touch screen does not work in this camera and another same model did not work (touch screen)

This might be a great camera for someone but the over heating is a big concern for me and I had to return it.

I purchased this camera as a handy way to take great photos and 4K video. Not until I opened the box did I read that 4K can only be used for 5minutes at a time! Worst of all it would over heat in less than 3 minutes and became impossible to capture important video I needed. Major disappointment

I think it's the best pocket camera due to the slow motion and regular video capabilities. I debated on the LX10 but it peaks at 120p and even then it limits settings. I use high frame rate mode quite a bit, mainly for fun family videos, and whereas the RX100IV missed focus in that mode the V seems to still keep everything in focus. As for the regular camera features, it works fine. I don't think there is much separating the 1-inch sensors photo quality wise (other than your preference for colors). Not a fan of the menu system for Sony's, apps for example aren't very intuitive and a hassle, but again there's nothing that compares to it in my opinion so I gave it the best rating I could. Too bad Nikon's DL series never materialized to give Sony competition.

I bought this as a partner to my RX10M3; picture quality is excellent, and it's small enough to take everywhere! The two major weaknesses (in my opinion) are that the 24mm-70mm zoom range is a little small, you can use Clear Image digital zoom to get to 140mm but optical zoom is always better. The second weakness is the flash- it's very harsh and will cast a shadow of the lens in wide angle shots. You can use your finger to hold the flash back and bounce it but unless it's a small room with a low ceiling the results will be mixed. It's a great camera overall but I'll continue to use the RX10M3 for more serious work!

Excellent Camera, High 24 FPS, Best Image quality in small body.

So I bought this camera for my wife for our anniversary as we travel alot and wanted a really good point and shoot to take Family pics with while traveling... The camera itself on paper has everything you could ever want all the bells and whistles!!! However the setup is INSANELY DIFFICULT.... Sure sony has online support which we have tried however there is so much going on with this camera and so many settings if your not a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER forget it setup is way to advanced for the average user!! We have wasted hours trying to set this thing up with zero luck... Great concept but not user friendly or POINT AND SHOOT as advertised would give this thing Negative stars if I could!!! When I spent $1000 on a point and shoot I expect to be able to do just that POINT IT AND SHOOT IT and that's not the case with this camera !!

Small camera, great quality. Can shoot really high frame rate.
