Good but with some fragile parts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In general this is a very nice camera. The image quality is excellent; it has a pile of nice features. I have had some good fun with the time-lapse feature. One significant minus is the connections. The USB connection gets used all the time, both for charging and for downloading the photos and videos. That means opening up the cover over the connector. Unfortunately, the cover is EXTREMELY flimsy. Yesterday when I opened it, the cover came right off. I can't even find it (it seems to be somewhere inside my chair). A camera this expensive should have solid moving parts, not ones that fall apart after a few weeks.

Great camera

Bad battery

Best Point & Shoot out there, better than iPhone

You want a point and shoot, want high quality photos, but don't want to pay for all the gear for a DSLR. IMO, this has a slightly larger sensor than the iPhone 12 and as a result takes slightly better photos. We've done some comparison shots with both and the difference is definitive, but not by a huge margin. The big advantage here is you can manage photos easier, do more with your photography, and upgrade your phone anytime. It is a little expensive, even on sale.

I didn’t want to get my sister a DSLR, but wanted to gift her something of quality. Photo quality is definitely there and the price was great in my opinion. I would definitely buy it for myself if I wanted something travel friendly.

Worth every penny

There’s a lot under the hood and if you have the time and want to learn this camera can beat some mirrorless cameras on the market today
