This little thing disappears in your hand (maybe a problem if one's hands are large) making for an unobtrusive everyday carry. It does everything my old Rebel from last century does but without the extra lenses.

The best point-and-shoot camera. This is my second RX100 VII, and I highly recommend purchasing the four-year Geek Protection Plan. I accidentally dipped my first camera into the ocean, which rendered it unusable, so I had to buy another one. For my second camera, I purchased the four-year protection plan. I bought both cameras using a two-year, no-interest payment plan, which at the time of this review comes out to about $60 per month. It feels like free money.

The Sony RX100 VII is a great option for beginners who want a compact camera with pro-level features. It’s easy to use with its Auto mode and has a tilting touchscreen for framing shots, making it beginner-friendly. The 24-200mm zoom lens covers a wide range of scenarios, from landscapes to portraits. Plus, its fast autofocus ensures clear photos even of moving subjects. While it’s on the pricier side, its image quality and versatility make it a worthwhile investment for those starting in photography or vlogging.

I wanted to get into street photography and am soo happy I found this little gem. Small enough to fit in my small purses and the photos come out crispy every time

Great camera-the AF is exceptional and the best part is that this powerhouse of a camera can fit in most pockets! Just wish that the body was made with some provisioning for a better grip. It could quite easily slip out if your hands if not held properly so you will need to invest in solutions for a better grip.

Camera work really nicely. You can focus the camera really fast. It can focus automatically or you can touch the LCD screen to focus on any point on the screen. It's really nice to be able to carry this camera in your pocket and not get in the way. This camera produces amazing pictures and videos. Very easy to use either automatically or with different camera settings. I added a Lensmate system to add a polarizing filter or a ND filter. It works really well with this camera and is not affected by the zoom lens. This is a great travel camera

This pocket sized camera is phenomenal. The picture quality is superb with so many features. Highly recommend.

I've had this camera for about a year and a half. I bought it to take to concerts where anything with a removable lens is not allowed. It is fast, sharp and just takea an amazing picture. Any time i dont have the ability or room to carry around my 7Aiii, i take this and could not be happier.

This is a small camera with a lot of flexibility for its size. The quality of the photos is excellent. I prefer to shoot raw photos. This camera is great for travel when I want to take more professional photos than my phone is able to produce.

I’ve been looking for a great point and shoot for travels vs carrying around a heavy slr and lenses over a year and am glad I finally took the plunge with this one! Love it!! Images are sharp, clear, and the auto focus and eye detection are spot on and amazing! So easy, when I’m Out hiking or kayaking or just wanting pix of family, it takes the guesswork out of it all for me and gives great results. Better quality than my iPhone but still portable. I did buy the grip for it and highly recommend it to keep from dropping it. Great camera in a small package! I have not tried the video yet so I can’t speak for that as I wanted it mostly for stills.

I got an open box of this camera in "excellent" condition and it started glitching out after the first week. Luckily, after talking to an in-store associate, it was pretty easy to return it and buy a completely new one of the same kind and I absolutely love it! I'm still figuring out the settings but there's plenty of tutorials and love the quality so far!

This camera has everything you would want in a point and shoot plus so much more. Easily fits in pocket or purse. Has automatic and manual settings that allow for artistic shots. Fast and accurate auto focus and frames per second. Zoom out to 200mm. Awesome. Only thing is no grip and easy to hit the video button.

Super happy with this camera. Photos are clear and sharp, it’s easy to use, and perfect to bring on trips. Definitely worth it!

I upgraded from the "first" model RX100 and this, of course, is just in another world. The zoom length, focusing, color output, and speed is fantastic. In my opinion, this is the best of these cameras and they do hold their value well. The capabilities for such a small, pocketable camera are amazing. The reviews tell the whole story for this camera. The only "issue", which would be relevant to any of these types/size cameras, is keeping it steady while shooting. Because of its small size and weight, it is hard to get a stable grip for hand-held shots, especially when zoomed out. There is a small grip available that can be attached to the front which drastically helps to hold on to the small camera.
