Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a comparison - this had everything I wanted so ordered online - Picked up in the store - so much was missing - Application and sound organizer software, USB cable, stereo headphones, carrying pouch- the store didn't seem to want to make it right, so returned it before I even got out of the store. I don't know who I am more disappointed with - Sony or BestBuy.

I am dissatisfied with the reason for this purchase which was to record interviews. Recorded sound quality is poor. This would be of very little value to a student recording a lecture in a large lecture hall. poor over all quality.

Set everything up after returning from the store today. Works like a charm. There are reviews saying the volume is too low, don't listen to them, they must not know how to turn the volume up. This is definitely going to be useful in my inspections of properties.
