This is a nice recorder. It is a bit difficult to figure out the different settings but it has been useful for dictating notes.

This Sony Digital Recorder is recording from a greater distance than I expected. I use it mainly to record music and it has great clarity on play back and is easy to use.

When I purchased this recorder I was looking for something that had an ease of use. With the Micro SD slot I found that the accessibility gave it just that. It picks up any noise around it, without being fuzzy or hard to hear; all is clear and mostly coherent.

My brother bought this digital recorder for a special train expedition trip. The recordings of train whistles and locomotives was outstanding. So I purchased the same unit to have for further train watching trips. Easy to use, transfers quickly to my MacBook Pro laptop. Excellent sound quality when played back on CD.

I got this to record sermons at our church by directly connecting it to the soundboard. Long story short, it works really well. We just plug it in, record the sermons, and then plug it to a computer and drag the files off of it like you would a jump drive. The interface takes a minute to figure out, but isn't difficult once you get it. We initially had some difficulty with sound quality, but I think that had more to do with a cable problem. It seems to be working great now.

Records really clear sounds. Mic is really sensitive. I'm happy with this purchase.

This was purchased for personal quick notes & recordings. The clarity of the recordings is amazing. It is very handy to use and easy to figure out with one exception. Setting up the file folders seems to be a little more complicated than it should be. That is the reason we are giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
