I purchased this for my niece to use for recording college lectures. She's received high marks on her first tests this semester so I'd say it's doing its part.

Great price and easy to use. I used it for a road trip with my Aunt. I wanted to record her "story" and it worked well. She could just talk in a normal voice and it picked up well.

compact and works well - I wish I would have read closer though that I needed a memory card (assumed everything was included). Be sure to buy one also for this.

On/off, record, playback...all work fine. However, you need to download the user manual and sound organizer to get to the finer points of the product, such as editing.

I purchased the Sony Digital Voice Recorder as a gift for a friend. They are very pleased to use it every day. Easy to handle and friendly use-instructions.

I got this for my parents. I think it is a little bit complicated for them but the price and options were really nice. I would like to have a bigger screen and would definitely like to have a phone connection accessories. In europe they sell those recorders with the phone recording accessories and it activates only when there is a call. Wish they had that option.

a small and simple device, easy to hold. seems to work well with decent voice quality although I have not yet used at school, I think it will work well

I bought this recorder for work but I have used it as well for personal business. It works very well and sounds great when I plug it into my external speaker.

You have to play with it a bit to get the hang of the way it erases and such but I am very happy with it.

Very easy to use. Dummy proof!! The instructions and directions were easy to understand. Took me less than 5 minutes to fully use. Great product.
