This is the second time that I bought this unit. My first one was lost, best buy sells great quality items. Thats why I bought it from them.

Good to have for interviews and to have at home an asset to have as repertoire in personal technology

Great voice recorder. I was able to use this recorder without haven't much trouble. Easy to use. Light weight to put on my pocket to carry around.

Its a great recorder, the only downside imo is the sound quality when you playback on its speakers. Easily fixed by using your owm headphones

I use this to record out of a soundboard and send into my editing software. There is a little static in the audio, but I did not purchase it expecting perfection.

Records audio in many different formats. Perfect when needing a format for putting with a video or for just listening to a recorded lecture.

So far so good! I have been using it only for a few weeks, but it has served its purpose so far.

Working fine as i wanted to give more time to know better. Then I lost it at IAD airport.... :( Just before getting on plane...

The range for this is really good. Great for school and other related things!

Clear voice recordings. I use to record and play back class I am taking. Helpful device.

I found this recorder to be very useful. The microphone has a limited range, so I suggest getting fairly close to the source.

Sound quality is good. Recorder worked great for the purpose that it was purchased for.

This recorder has better features than a lot of basic entry level recorders out there. The features include 4GB built-in memory, expandable memory thru microSD slot, and being able to connect to a computer using a USB cable to transfer the recorded mp3 files. It's a compact, small device (feels sort of like a small tv remote control) and both recorded voice quality and battery life (on 2 AAA batteries) seem to be pretty good so far. Some drawbacks are are the mono microphone (recorders with the built-in stereo microphones cost more and usually make the recorder physically larger, there is a mic jack on this recorder though that would allow you to hook up an external stereo microphone) and the higher cost to get the extra features mentioned above. I estimate the features like the memory card slot and USB connector add about $20 extra on top of a basic recorder model that doesn't have these features. But I think they are worth the extra cost.

The Sony PX333 voice recorder is replacing my old Sony PX820 bought in 2010, it was working well until i forgot it in a cargo pocket in my shorts, and it got washed. That was the end of it's life. The new PX333 works in about the same way as the older Sony recorder, controls have been changed some but still do the same functions. It now can except a micro memory card the internal memory is now 4gb 2gb larger then the PX820. The recording times have increased as with the battery life. The older PX820 came with a very nice small manual that really was helpful, sadly Sony has replaced it with a one page paper quick guide, that is very basic, but there is a help manual in the devices memory you can load to your computer, or read it at Sony's support web page. Myself i like the format of the PX820s included manual, but thats just me. The construction is still very good and the recording quality is very good, the size is still around the same as the PX820 and very easy to hold and operate. It connected to my Windows10 computer just like the PX820, but did not require installing a program from a CD as the PX820 required. All the software is already in the internal memory of the PX333. If you have used the early Sony voice recorders, you won't have to learn anything new, just a few changes Sony has made in the controls. If this is your first Sony voice recorder, you will quickly be using it after working with it.

The quality of the product is good and the quality of recorded sound as well. I wish it would be a little smaller in size.

Needed to record messages from cell phone onto something permanent as I was changing cell phone providers. Did the trick.

I went back to school and needed a reliable recorder and this product did the job.

This recorder is easy to use; I am trying to improve as a speaker and have brought it to meetings. Good quality recorder.

It's an excellent product and easy to used I'm still learning this so it will help me going and hope I get much better.
