After reading review about this voice recorder and others, I chose this one and am very pleased. Easy to use, organizes files, the ability to add bookmarks while recording just make it very versatile when going back and editing files from lectures.

I bought this for a lecture class at a major University. There are about 500 people in the class and the professor is extremely mobile. This recorder stayed on my desk and recorded everything the professor said without fail. It was a great purchase for the price.

This is a good digital recorder for the money but in this day and age a $50 piece of tech should either be more feature rich or come with a better interface. There is absolutely nothing about this little guy that will dissappoint. It has an excellent long battery life and a very wide field of distance from which it will pick up clear spoken audio. I found when having an argument with my crazy girlfriend from across the room that it did a good job of changing from near field to far microphones.

Bought this for my wife for school. It helps her rewrite notes or just review. The only thing is that it picks up the sound of her pencil and at times that sound is louder than the teachers voice. Otherwise it's very good.

Easy to use and compact with lots of expandable storage space. Not bad for the price.

This small hand held recorder does just fine for ghost hunting trips as well as recording voices for dictation later. Ample space and battery wear is very good here. Recommended.

Amazing microphone and great playback. Features are fantastic. I left it running in my jacket and it sounded like it was out in the open.

Recorder performs great it is clear and I don,t miss any of my notes. Iit has improve my understanding of my courses by allowing me to repeat anything that I missed before.

This recorder is cost effective, works great with my Mini Microphone, or without one it picks up great audio quality. I purchased 2 and use them for Weddings/Events/or for records. Worth every cent! :)

Easy to work! Great features! I have had some complicated recorders prior to this. Used it for college classes, and even when a friend asked me to try a ghost hunt. Two big extremes hehe. Never had an issue with it!

This recorder works very well, highly recommended! Great for all academic lectures. The head phone jack is primary used for auxiliary use while driving to and from school. The simple features allow for easy operation.

I use this for my playback of meetings which I have to transcribe to paper. It is easy to use, and downloads so easily into my computer. The software just sets itself up in whatever computer you're using. Playback on the unit itself is also good.

I bought this to record training calls or save voicemails. i have recorded to the device but have not downloaded to my computer yet. Much easier to use than another I had purchased a year or so ago

I have used several brands of digital recorders with the paranormal investigation team I belong to. This Sony recorder gives us excellent personal recording and it is very easy to use and take data off of.
