Awesome Camera, poor battery solution

Wonderous camera for a great price

I definitely would suggest this if you are in need of a camera. With digital AND optical zoom, this provides a great range of zooming one could do.

It will be a Christmas present, and is designed to see how much my son will really like/use a nicer camera. My husband saw it and now he wants one also.

Zoom isn't good, no rechargable battery

I bought this camera for my son and didn't realize that it does not have a rechargeable battery, so AA batteries have to be purchased, and for a kid that doesn't understand shutting off the camera when you're done with it, the cost of batteries could add up. The zoom also isn't great, but ok for up close, lighted area pictures.
