I love the quality from such a value priced camera.

Would not hold charge long enough and some of the pictures are blurry

Didn't care for picture quality. Not easy to use menu options. had to constantly reset picture options to get quality I was looking for.

This has to be the most disappointing product I have ever purchased from Sony. All the specs sound great: 20 megapixels, 35x zoom lens, Sony intelligent software...for the price. This has to be the slowest camera since the Polaroid instant from the 80’s. If the speed was the only problem then I would give it 3 stars but the image may be blurry no matter how still or how long you hold the camera. It doesn’t matter what setting you use, inside or outside, still life or action you just don’t know what your going to get, just like an 80’s Polaroid instant. Purchase the next model or 2 up. This is just awful.

I needed a camera for close up photos - this isn’t the best for that.

I returned this sony and upgraded to the Sony megapixel 20.4 and was much happier.

Bought this and I wasn't to impressed with the quality of the pictures.

Does the job for the price. Got an open box at a discount.

I got this for my mom for Christmas to replace an older Kodak. It seemed like the lighting and the distance had to be perfect to get a clear picture. The older Kodak was better, so I returned this camera. My mom was very disappointed in her present.

It's ok...I expected it to be a little better than it is for the price. Honestly my cell phone takes better pictures. The resolution is not nearly as good as I was hoping for.

Great camera for a beginner and the price was right However I am looking for something better, so I returned it and will have to spend a lot more money for a SLR camera

The problem I have with the camera is some pics are blurry and the battery life is really poor I've used it twice and already need New batteries

My iPhone takes better pictures! Pictures are coming out with a red tint or a shift in the color spectrum. Bought it for a 9 year old and he is not happy

broke the first week i had it without any crazy happenings(dropping, throwing,,etc) took awesome pictures....for all of 4 days

Respectfully disagree with the negativity of the previous reviewers. Purchased this product having thoroughly researched and thought about what features were of top importance. The combination of such a high megapixels number and zoom ability is currently rare for this product's price topped everything. Before and after purchase, used every feature this product has to offer the user to make sure it worked properly and meet or exceed needs. If it didn't, was prepared to return it but that was not an issue or necessary. Quite the opposite. Very satisfied. There is even an Easy mode / setting built into the camera that you can set it to and just aim, adjust the framing of the shot and click the shutter. If you don't want to use this setting, just turn it off and take the time to at least learn to totally use the camera. As with any product, you may have to learn by experimenting with the features. If you want to immediately use it on a vacation, such as a previous user mentioned they did, of course things may not go perfectly because there might be a slight learning curve until being able to operate it exactly as you wish. To blame the camera for not doing something, like focusing, without being totally familiar with the inner workings and subtleties and precisely to properly adjust the settings seems unfair for this model. You must realize the level of features, including advanced, you have here. It's like if someone drives a regular every day street car but has never driven a more advanced car. It may be possible to operate some of the features but not others. People should not be so quick to criticize this product. You have to know, as a consumer, what you are committing to purchase before do so. Educate yourself as to what is important before purchasing. Even spend some time in the store touching it and hands on using every feature. It might be beneficial. For what it has to offer the user, the price is great! Totally happy with it!

I love this camera. It is very easy to use. It uses 4 AA batteries instead of the lithium rechargeable batteries, but I bought rechargeable AA batteries and it's worked wonderfully. Do not buy regular AA's because you will be wasting your money. Thought i could use regular AA's when i forgot to bring my rechargeables with me and they only lasted a whopping minute (it was just enough to power on the camera and then die). The pictures come out crisp and beautiful. I'm very impressed with this camera.

Stopped working after few uses so I ended up returning the camera. Quality was mediocre
