She wanted a digital camera but didn't want it to be too difficult to operate. This camera is perfect. It is a basic point and shoot so she doesn't have to worry about pushing too many buttons or changing settings each time she wants to take a picture. The buttons are a good size and are pretty intuitive. It is easy to transfer pictures over to a computer. You do need to buy a memory card to go with it.

The only thing that needs to be improved are the Off/On button and the Shutter button. They need to be a bit taller as they are hard to find and push when you are taking pictures.
