Good quality pics, but slow

Tood about 140 pics at the beach of waves, sand, wind surfers, etc. Loaded the pics to my laptop, perfect. The 2nd day however, the ocean air formed a film on the lens, and my next 100 pics were foggy. I attempted to gently clean the lens (owners manual does not give guidance on cleaning the lens) with a little bit of alcohol, and now the lens is ruined. The lens does not have a proper seal (either a design defect or manufacturing defect), and moisture and debris seeped in and the camera is useless. Going back to Best Buy to see what they can do to resolve... stay tuned.

But eventually it started having issues where it would shut itself down. Not sure why, maybe a Battery issue? Unfortunately, she lost it, so we were unable to determine what the problem was

She took a few shots then stopped using it. I thought maybe she just had a bad setting and tried it myself, and found out why. The LCD view finder is just bad, controls are poorly located, and worse of all there's a 2 sec delay after you click the shutter until you can take another photo. For a 20 mp camera with a Ziess lens it takes mediocre pictures at best. Compared to my old iPhone 5S and the phone beat it hands down on picture quality.

I think It was due to the size of the camera. Item was returned however I don't think anything was really wrong with it the person just didn't like it.
