I was frustrated by the light contrast with sunny areas and shaded areas in the same frame and the inability to control the exposures in certain circumstances. Still a good beginner camera.

I got this foR my wife has a gift and I think the features are Great it takes great clear pictures and even if you're a little shaky It Will steady the picture out for you. it allows you to take videos and has a panoramic picture that lets you capture the whole room

Sony DSC-W830 Point and Shoot Digital Camera

It's great for carrying around during those times when you don't want to bring all your professional equipment with you. It takes decent video and on the high settings take acceptable jpg photos.
