My several year old Sony started having problems after tens of thousands of very good pictures. I also had a Sony for many years before that is still working but old tech. and larger. I wanted a small point and shoot camera and this one seemed to fit my needs except no optical viewfinder, but that seems to be something in the past. It is a bit smaller than my previous, perhaps a bit too small, but I want it to slip in my pocket. It has a Zeiss lens as the previous and seems to take good pictures for what it is. I was skeptical at its very low price, much cheaper than my previous, but comparing to other brands and Sonys at higher prices did not show me more value, mostly more features that I did not want. I KNOW, some want more and perhaps may get better pictures (?) but this does fine for my need as a point and shoot. For professional quality pictures get a bulky DSLR at a much higher price. I also like that this one still takes my MEMORYSTICK media as well as SD and other.

Great camera for everyday and special occasions. Compact size, sharp pictures and very easy to use.

This was a requested gift for a professional photographer that I know and if he requested it, must be pretty good so I got myself one. Completely simple to use and perfect for travel.

For the cost it is a good little camera. If you want quality for developing you may want to go a little larger than this but for my purpose of taking lots of pictures it is great.

The camera isn't to bad for the price per say. I bought it just so we could have one for our 8 year old to take vacation pictures. Small and compact and can't argue with the megapixel rating on it.

Not a bad cheap camera. I have a nice Sony camera and you can feel the difference - plastic vs metal parts, battery door that doesn't latch automatically, etc. But for the price it takes decent pictures.

We bought this camera for the second time after I accidentally sat on the first one and broke the screen. It has been an easy to use camera for taking pictures of our new grandson. I have also used it to take outdoor shots at the Christmas tree farm and in the backyard.

I like the size of this camera, and the price was great as well. I can slip it into my handbag easily so I am not loaded down with extra items to carry. Takes good pix, does short video clips and I really like the fact if the camera moves a bit while getting the photo, it adjusts for that. Great camera for those of us who aren't "techies".

It's a quick hand held point and shoot camera. The video quality is pretty good, and I am impressed with the picture quality. It's pretty small so if you purchase be careful of how to handle it, but so far I am enjoying it. I use it mostly for videos and it hasn't let me down yet. Battery life is pretty good on this camera as well. If you need a good point and shoot, this camera works well!

Camera takes great pictures. I was looking for a camera that dated and time stamped the pictures for work projects. Box stated that it had a date stamp but mention no time stamp. None of the cameras did so I took a chance. To my disappointment found out it didn't. Ended up keeping it due to picture quality. Should have gone back for a canon but I got lazy.

If you're looking for a camera to shove into a small space that takes good pictures. You found it. If you're looking for a camera that takes great action shots, keep looking. I bought the camera for the burst feature. The only problem with the burst feature is there is a lag. Was very disappointed. On the positive side, the camera was inexpensive and very small, takes good pictures for say an evening out with friends.
