My other daughter has a similar style camera (different brand, but similar size and specs) and felt very confident when I purchased this item. This camera is junk. When you click the on/off button and the lens extends, it's grinds and makes a terrible noise. The lens fogs up and pictures turn out blurry. My daughter has had some very nice photo opps only for the pictures to turn out poorly. :( I wish I had gone with the cheaper camera that my other daughter has--we've never had any issues and the pictures turn out great. Save your money on this one.

Images came out pixelated regardless of the frame. I returned it within a week of attempted use. It takes pictures, just not high quality pictures.

Opening the package the item was filthy and it was missing the battery charger. I bought this camera $40 cheaper than the original price and the item I received was not worth a penny. I quickly returned it and got a refund. I own a DSLR camera and wanted something that was portable, affordable and durable. However, I am glad that I did not go with this camera since I found a better option online. I went with an action camera (which is like a GoPro) online for 55% of the price of this item. It had better mega pixels for the camera and video recording capability of 2K and 4k. However, it lacked the durability and the zoom in capability at 5x. In addition, if you would like to buy an open box call the specific store and ask someone to inspect it before your purchase online.
